The Elzetta Tactical Flashlight Mount for AR15/M4/M16 rifles is the solution many of our customers have been searching for. This product allows a department or individual to mount flashlights from 0.7 to 1.1 inches in diameter (18 to 27 mm). This includes flashlights from popular manufacturers such as InForce®, Streamlight®, Pelican®, Laser Devices®, SureFire.
Elzetta ZFH1500 is made from an advanced glass-filled polymer that provides outstanding durability, impact resistance, scratch resistance and light weight. It also withstands high temperatures, vibration, and most chemicals.
The mounting location is at the 6 o'clock position beneath the barrel and, in addition to being truly ambidextrous, is very instinctual to activate.
Elzetta designed the ZFH1500 to work in various configurations. When the flashlight is mounted rearward (with the tailcap exposed), the sling swivel (with or without a sling attached) will activate the push-button switch of the flashlight. When the flashlight is mounted with the tailcap recessed into the ZFH1500 body, the push-button switch is protected from the sling swivel while the tailcap of the flashlight is still accessible through the skeleton hole in the ZFH1500 body.
The ZFH1500 will work on any AR15, M4, or M16 with a standard A2 front sight base (FSB) regardless of barrel diameter or profile. This includes M4, government, pencil, lightweight, and heavy barrel (HBAR) profiles.
This thumbscrew version is the ideal choice for when a the flashlight might be installed and removed frequently.
We also offer a slightly less expensive allen screw model that is ideal for situations where a dedicated flashlight will be attached to the rifle.
The optional sling mount accessory is also pictured, but must be purchased seperately.
